Allow me to introduce you to some close friends of mine – fitness, food, and frivolity! While they are wonderful friends who are always looking for ways to keep us well and happy, they can sometimes come with their little complexities… well, until you get to know them.
Fitness, food, and frivolity are an awesome bunch – and when they all work together, we feel great! However, for most of us, we connect better with maybe one or two of these guys – it can be hard being friends with everyone! But we just need to get to know the others a bit better; after all, three’s a party!
But on a more serious note, fitness can be hard. On top of actually having to walk into a gym for the first time, there are thoughts like:
- “What classes do I do?”
- “What do I wear?”
- “What am I supposed to eat now?”
- “Do I need a PT?”
- “How the heck do I work this machine?”
- “Am I meant to be low carb/no carb/low fat/sugar free?”
- “How do I get my friend to come with me?”
- “What am I supposed to wear?”
- “Am I doing anything right?”
And on the most serious note – we COMPLETELY GET IT! So seriously, we’re here for you with this awesome blog to help you out, since no one ever got everything right on their first try. Trust us, we’ve done the ground work, experienced the learning curve ourselves, done the research, found the relevant and hilarious memes, and structured it all into easy-to-digest pieces of factual information FOR YOU.
